Guide organisational learning and change
Organisational development (OD) is a process of learning and change for which organisations may require the support of external advisers/consultants. This course is designed for advisers who want to improve their competencies in designing and guiding organisational change, from the client intake up to implementation.
Participants:
You are an adviser or consultant assisting organisations in their efforts to improve or change. You have basic knowledge of organisational development processes and some years of practical experience as an adviser or consultant. You are feeling the need to further hone your skills in shaping and managing advisory processes.
Course Objectives:
This course aims at enabling you to design and to manage the advisory process in a more effective manner. This means that at the end of the course you:
- Are able to design and structure the advisory process in a logical and efficient manner with a clear and an agreed purpose in mind
- Understand the importance of clarifying your role vis-à-vis the client organisation and how to best match your competencies to the needs of the organisation
- Understand the complex change dynamics in organisations and how these can be managed
- Have honed your communication skills to successfully manage your ‘client’ relations
