MDF: Managing for Development Results

MDF Training & Consultancy biedt van 18 t/m 21 april de cursus ‘Managing for Development Results’ aan:

Development and international cooperation are constantly under pressure to become more effective and accountable. Consequently, Managing for Development Results has rapidly gained importance. However, what does this management strategy exactly mean, where to begin, whom to involve and where to look for assistance?

At the end of this course you will understand MfDR better and you will have identified consequences of this management strategy for your own work and organisation. Moreover, you will be able to link MfDR clearly with the overall effectiveness debate. This will enable you to analyse the result focus of your own work and organisation and identify the opportunities to strengthen this result focus.

After an update on the present debate, you will look more closely at key MfDR features like: “shared goals and strategies” and “evidence-based decision-making and learning”. While doing so, you will come across specific central MfDR tools, such as result chains and key performance indicators.
