Kick-off seminar CoCooN: Knowledge@work!

CoCooN presents a new approach for bringing about positive change in the natural resources and conflict interface. The programme is innovative and ambitious. It puts local demands and ownership at the forefront and offers opportunities of close collaboration between practitioners, researchers and policymakers. Moreover, CoCooN combines effective use of available knowledge with high quality research and capacity development.

The seminar CoCooN: Knowledge@work! shows this new and inspiring approach in practice.

Dr Indra de Soysa and Mr Clive Wicks will present their views on the international debates related to the awarded projects’ subjects. During ‘a market’ you will have the opportunity to meet the project teams face-to-face. The diverse approaches of the projects will be presented and you are invited to discuss ways for cooperation and action for wider knowledge networking.

The seminar will take place on Wednesday 15 December, from 12.30 to 17.00 hrs, followed by drinks. A more detailed programme of the meeting will soon be published on the website. The final programme will be sent to the registered participants one week in advance of the meeting.

The Peace Palace, Carnegieplein 2, 2517 KJ, The Hague.
